Discovery!!! At The Greens we encourage our volunteers to go for Discovery

In our weekly meeting, 13 volunteers of The Greens converged to listen to Tubuo Laura, Public Relations Officer of The Greens, Bamujo Cecilia, Director of Training for Embroidery at EcoDesigns and Mbwameh Ethel, a trainee of EcoDesigns of Waste Business Hub of The Greens share their discovery in Green Health and Fashion Designing.

It started with Laura, who thrilled us with information on how to naturally cure tooth ache using bicarbonate, cotton, water and salt as well as using garlic.

Her presentation was followed by Ethel's presentation which focused the North West Traditional Regalia, its significance and how to make a traditional regalia.

Cecilia then concluded the discovery session with her presentation on the power of time (patience), conciousness and passion in getting the most effective results. She demonstrated it using two dresses which were embroidered; one was rushed and the other one was done with passion, patience and conciousness. She called on all volunteers to be patient, concious and have passion for the work they do in order to yield wonderful results.

Every week on Monday, volunteers of The Greens have a capacity building meeting and discovery session during which they learn and share experiences as well as evaluate the organization's activities for the week.
On Monday 26th March 2018, it's going to be Franca Mbom and Renita Fwl who will thrill us with their amazing discoveries as well as a training on Project Writing and Management by Mr. Green, Ngalim Franklin.
