Why 6 Days Of Rain Is Making Me Pray For More Rain
For the past few months, South Africa has been praying for rain. Dams and rivers are empty and it's becoming hotter and hotter.
Down came the rain almost a week ago and it hasn't stopped... Good news you would think, but it is raining in the wrong region. Kwazulu Natal has been the receptor of rain since June and we have even experienced floods. My family in Gauteng is all for the rain as long as it fills up the rivers... this is where problem number 2 comes in. The rain we have been experiencing for the past week is just enough to water your grass and to stop you from washing your car or clothes.
I love the rain, I love walking in it and dancing in it and feeling the tiny drops fall on me, but I'm now praying for one proper rainfall in the areas that need it.
Please pray for rain in South Africa.
till next time

The interior of KZN is dry as a bone. We had 2 days of heavy rain, but it didn't make any difference.
That is so strange. I live close to Hillcrest and it's been drizzling for 6 days straight. That really annoying kind of rain that wets everything but helps no one.
I live in Newcastle. We have a few downpours, but nothing to even start alleviating the problem. Today is relatively cool, but we just had over a week of 35C+ temperatures.
