My Life Yesterday, 5.18.18 #ulog

It was one of those days at work where everything was going well and here was a lot of fun things to see.

This closet door was full of random stickers, it was an interesting way to decorate a bedroom.

In another house, I found this sad clown in the bedroom of the grandpa who lives there with his daughters family.

I was chatting with him for a while in the front yard where he was bent down on his knees weeding the flowerbed.

He told me all about how he has always been the one to take care of all the chores and cleaning around the house since his children were small and even up until today.

“She’s so lazy, I have to clean everything. I never taught my kids how to take care of things so now I have to do it all for them.”

I didn’t really know how to take what kind of sentiment he was expressing. He didn’t seem angry, but he didn’t seem too pleased either. Maybe more indifference to the way things were and maybe feeling a bit guilty for spoiling his kids... It’s hard to say.

My sunglasses I wear for work broke, so I headed over to the 99¢ store to get some new ones.

They were sold out, but I did find this funny picture of a dog wearing a pair!

After that I was at a house that had this smooshed frog in the pool. The facial expression it has was cracking me up!

It’s like he’s sitting there going “I dare you to get in this pool, just try...!”

The last photo of the day was this colorful little chihuahua sculpture.

The vibrant colors really capture the spirit and attitude of chihuahuas, and it was life size too!

I could almost hear the sharp piercing barking of a real chihuahua as I passed by...

After work it was a simple meal of leftover chicken drumsticks and some chicken salad.
