Do you have a favorite recipe? if so can you recommend a Thai Style pork.

Have been thinking about doing some, but my kitchen is really not that fancy so would be embarrassed to do something with detailed pictures. Most houses here have the kitchen as a small appendix to their house and not much love has gone into the details so if you asked anyone from the food safety department they would most definitely say you would die if you eat any of my food.

Wow - fresh meat from a humanely treated animal. Looks like a good way to have your family and community work together too.

I wouldn't know how to process and animal like that if I had to!

Had to wait 20 hours to reply to you, this new update is really a success. NOT! Could somehow understand it if you were told just to piss off and stop posting, but giving a shit and trying to write meaningful replies and then just no way to do it really pisses me off and I does not become pissed off easily, posting failure, buy wonder worthless tokens from the magic fairy whales if you want to continue.
If life ever taught me anything, greed is never the solution.
I doubt very much any newcomers will bother. Hope the whales will be happy playing with themselves.
Now to my reply. (it used to be neatly formatted and with neatly formatted paragraphs but having being cut/pasted a lot of times I have given up on the original and just adding on this pre-reply.

According to my x-boyfriend neither do we. Remember the first pig we had, it was one he was given at his birthday by a Danish pig farmer staying here. It was raised like a dog, would follow him everywhere, sit watch tv with him on the sofa, go with him in his car etc. it was really clean and showered with him daily and never left anything inside the house. It was all good until it reached about 250 kgs and the sofa gave in. He then bought a girl for him (the pig, does not know why it had to be a girl as his balls were cut off) so he was not lonely and made an enclosure for them around our big old jackfruit three, that they naturally destroyed by eating its roots. When the pig reached over 300 kgs he was finally persuaded to had it slaughtered but the way it was done made him furious and he did not speak for weeks. The meat tho is some of the best I have ever tasted, so tender and juicy it was nearly unbelievable. So love does really matter, and he did really love that pig, would sit for hours daily and read a book while the pig lay with its head in his lap and getting scratched on its back.

This is one of the best comments I've read on Steemit. Thanks so much for the story of the pig! I'm glad you persevered through the posting troubles.

Do a lot of families keep pet pigs to raise for meat?
