BurstNation Radio Is Cruising the Air In Style: A Review and Interview with the Creator himself!

On August 31st, 1920 the world changed; the first radio news program was broadcasted by 8MK in Detroit, Michigan (1). Almost 100 years later, a new form of radio has hit the internet waves…Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you THE BurstNation Radio; it's a rockin’, funkin’, blastin’, cytocurrency talkin’, 24-hour radio station that screams crypto-paradise! 

Before going into this innovative radio, let’s talk about BurstCoin first.

Steem was the technology that brought me to this crypto-land of new friends, opportunities, and just simple fun. While I spend most of my time on Steem, BurstNation is another place I like to stroll from time-to-time. It is a coin that can be mined through proof of capacity (PoC), which means that just having some free hard drive space will get you on your way to making money.  

More importantly, is the community behind this thriving coin. BurstNation was created this year, which has a very loyal user base like Steem. People are friendly there and are always willing to help. The price of BurstCoin has more than doubled since I joined the community a few months ago, and it has a strong support line on the markets.  

It is also a unique platform by having “assets” directly linked to the wallet. If you are not into mining, you could still have a lot of fun investing in certain assets. For instance, you could invest in a casino asset, which pays weekly dividends to its asset holders. If you get tired of an asset or need some cash, you can always cash out of your shares at the going market price.  

However, something new is rising in the BurstNation scene, and that is, without-a-doubt, BurstNation Radio.

The radio station that has only been around for a couple weeks is entertaining, informative, active, and plays all genres of music. Additionally, it has exceptional broadcasting quality. 

You can even request a song to be played! That is not all. The station has professional sound-quality advertisements that certain members will pay to “air" on the radio. For instance, if a member wants to start an asset, he may pay to have that promoted on the radio. This is really awesome that Burst has changed the way advertising is done. The advertisements are not boring, and to me, are quite cool/interesting. 

They broadcast more than just music! Once a week, MisterBurst, the creator of BurstNation Radio, will have a live discussion with members on the radio. These recordings are played throughout the week. MisterBurst also frequently hosts the station and gives out FREE burst coin for active listeners. It could be trivia or anything of the sort.   

Two days ago, the Bustradio asset was born! This asset is selling quickly and will include weekly dividends from the advertisement earnings. By being engaged with the radio, assets will also be granted.  

Overall, I think Burstnation radio is a great and fun way to bring people within the crypto-community together; its potential I give 5 stars. 

 
As ‘We” Steemians reflect on how to promote our product, a good look is what BurstNation is doing day-by-day. Finding creative ways like BurstNation Radio to promote their coin and community. In the future, it might be wise for Steem to advertise on this radio broadcast.

MisterBurst (AKA Adam Guerbuez) is the creator/designer of BurstNation Radio and administrator at BurstNation.com  

The Interview 

Me: (MillionDollarBash is my name on BurstNation): What gave you the idea to start this impressive radio station?  

MisterBurst: Honestly, I researched internet radio in the crypto world...there was a serious void, the capitalist in me knew that I had to take that bull by the horns and give the community a station that they would love to listen to, day and night and fill it to the brim with as much content as possible... that would get everyone talking about it while constantly taking feedback from the community on what I can add to the content to make it perfect! 

My cryptocurrency related videos on Youtube have been getting incredible interaction and attracting so many new people to crypto, that it seemed natural to compliment my video content with a live stream radio channel. 
I am not the first person to have a crypto radio station, however, I am the first to have one that has a steady listener-base of at least 30+ people tuned in day and night only shortly after launching the station and the numbers are growing so fast every day; it's only been online for a couple of weeks. I wanted the content to be professional so I made sure to get sponsor content produced by pro voice over artists, just like one would expect to hear on mainstream FM radio. 

Me: What is your vision for its future?  

MisterBurst: My vision is clear since day one in crypto: gain mainstream adoption. This is my speciality, and I have a really large audience already out there that loves what I do when it comes to promoting cryptocurrency, so the progression to internet radio was a no-brainer! 

Me: You have been giving out lots of Burst coins during air time. Pretty generous I may add.  

As for giving out BURST coins, it is a fun way to get new people who are listening, interested in BURST, what better way than to give them away, the cost is moderate to do so and the effect is golden. 

Me: I heard you were friends with the Trailer Park Boys on one of your broadcasts. How did you all meet?  

MisterBurst: Trailer Park Boys haha, now those guys are a fun bunch. I met the cast first back in 2007 when I went to Halifax Canada. I had found out that the actor that plays the character "BUBBLES", Mike Smith, had a business there that was a resto by day and booming nightclub by night. I made sure to go on a Friday night, hit up the vip section and hope that I see BUBBLES or others from the cast of the show... and sure enough I hit the jackpot with the entire staff being there for a night out. We met, smoked, drank and partied that first night and became buds from that day forward. 

Me: Since I am writing this article for the Steem Blockchain, what would you like Steemians to know about Burst, the radio, or anything with your involvement with this cool coin community? Could Steemit.com advertise their community on the radio station? 

MisterBurst: I would tell everyone who is reading this to take at least 30 minutes of their free time and come listen to BURST NATION RADIO, get a feel for it. I am confident you will keep it open, playing day and night on your desktop and mobile devices, not to mention there are several benefits to listening, such as all the giveaways I do on the station, every single day. As for advertising, anyone can run their ads on the station, we already have several sponsors actively running their content on rotation.. 

Me: What would you like folks to know about the Burst community in general? 

MisterBurst: We are just a regular every day people with a passion for all the benefits that cryptocurrency brings to us. The fact that BURST is so simple for anyone to start mining, simply by using the empty space on their hard drives, makes the BURST community so appealing to regular everyday mainstream people out there. We are really not a techie or super geeky group of people involved in BURST. On the contrary, many of us in the BURST community are people who never knew what cryptocurrency was before hearing about BURST.
