How to handle mone

in #life7 years ago

people's elevation most times bring them to a level where they make more money than they have ever made in their lives. money is an awesome responsibility, particularly if you have it in excess. the question becomes, what are you going to do with it? whether if #1 or #2,000,000, in our Creatures sight, it doesn't matter. if i have an extra naira, what i do with that extra naira and how i deal with it is vital. and its same principle as one who has #2,000,000. how you deal with this situation is a vital responsibility. so many super stars, government officials and jackpot winners obtain alot of money and then they lavish it because they don't know to handle it.

we need to realize that every essential assets we have is not ours; we are only stewards of it, just as we are stewards of our kids when we are raising them. i have been very blessed and i enjoyed assisting people, but that could become prideful if i think, look at what i am doing for the less fortunate. i think that God says to bless others silently is because we cant get puffed up when we give to others.

i was on a transit one day and i involved in a conversation with a fellow who was sitting next to me. he was a business man from Kano who was going to Lagos with his church to take over the administration of a hospital. he was work away to serve from everything to serve God in Lagos, he had been to Abuja, visiting different churches and trying to raise his support. he was a good christian. i enjoyed talking to him and the Lord spoke to me " Give the man this sum". i said "Lord i don't believe am hearing what what you are saying." We were landing in Ibadan, and i felt strongly that i needed to writ him a cheaque . i pulled one out and i wrote it for an amount God had told me. as we were walking off the Transit, i handed it to him and disappeared in the crowd. and i thought, well, i will never hear from him again.

about three days later, i received a letter from the man ( i had my address on the cheaque), and he wrote, " the amount you gave to me was the exact amount i needed to complete my move to Lagos ." that made me cheerful, but not from a bragging standpoint. it was between me and my God. its not the amount we give, its about being obedient when God says to do it. Just like the widow that gave all she had. the issue is what is going on as far as our hearts. we need to continue to grow in the understanding that which God has given to us.
