Learn To Ignore Things For Inner Peace
I like this from Robert J. Sawyer. There is so much going on demanding our attention. The peaceful person (a worthy goal) finds what needs to be ignored and where we need to focus attention. Focus on what is in line with your life goals and ignore the clutter.

Yes, ignore the haters and ignore the many aspects of "clutter" that can distract us from what is best for us. Thank you for your comments and kind words, @roselover.
Basically the concept of the Serenity Prayer taught in AA:
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
I think you are right, @mattiusmaximus. That prayer is one I learned from my grandma when I was a mere lad (a few years ago!). The wisdom of it still resonates today. Thank you for the reminder.
Not always. We can’t ignore the ones we love. We can’t have inner peace if we hurt those around us. Ignore the criticisms, but always listen to what others have to say. What you do with the information is a different story. Never ignore . Always interpret and filter but never ignore. Some of these things may have validity to it, or may help you grow !
