Learn How To Learn

Greetings my fellow Steemians. One of the best skills you can develop is learning how to learn. You and I are content creators here on this marvelous platform called Steemit. Knowing the importance of creating compelling content for others to read and enjoy will help you in Steemit --- and life.

That all starts from your knowledge base. In today's world it is a strong, competitive advantage to be able to create new material faster. That means you need to learn faster.

Here's a video I put together on Facebook Live that illustrates the importance of that and gives some specific tips to help you. I cover the book by Matthew Davis which is a Summary of The Art of Learning by Joshua Waitzkin. This is a book that can help you in the concept of learning and how to make it faster and better for you.

I want to make sure that I can help you in these areas and others. Please let me know what you think and if you have any comments, questions, or criticisms about this I welcome your replies below.

Thank you for being here very much! I look forward to hearing from you.

Beautiful presentation Sir, thank you for the effort.

"Mental Flushing" we all need this, flush.. flush and breath some fresh air. Walking, biking and praying helps me and my husband to relax and recharge.
"Comfort does not achieve greatness" This is so true in life. You got to get through it.
So much things to learn from your video:)

You are most welcome lordmp27. Thank you for stopping by.

Super insight here Terry. I enjoy learning through observation then turning around and teaching folks quickly. I dig doing a swift turnaround. Not because I am desperate to spread the knowledge but because I know it'll benefit my blogging tips hungry readers.

Thank you, ryanbiddulph. Yes, teaching others is one of the best ways to burn new information into our own minds. Thank you for sharing this. I look forward to having you stop by again.

Hi @terrybrock, I just stopped back to let you know your post was one of my favourite reads and I included it in my Steemit Ramble. You can read what I wrote about your post here.

@terrybrook Great stuff. I have a feeling that you might appreciate a G+ post from three years back.

Be well.

Very good article. I particularly liked the part that said, "I submit that possibly the single most powerful learning tool is to get into the zone (The twilight, alpha mode before and after sleep.) and allowing one's mind to journey back to that infant state and collect memories and associations. " That is critical for learning. By remaining curious, we are in a state that facilitates learning. Thank you very much for sharing this, aedroberts.
