Never is the occasion when a parent has the need to strike a young helpless child across the face. Many other methods of disciplining can be used that are just as if not more than effective. I feel that should a parent feel the need to strike the child in the face, then they have failed as a parent and end up breeding todays society of careless, disrespectful and violent youth. It is a true shame that these children do not stand a chance being brought up with those intentions and being taught that striking another human 'because im the boss' is the right way to deal with life.
