Hello folks, good morning, just smashed a chorizo and egg omelette and finished watching โ€˜Leon: the professionalโ€ (directors cut) with @dayleeo because she has never seen it before and everyone should see the amazon Luc Besson and a very young Natalie Portman do their thing on screen together in that film, for me itโ€™s a classic and certainly in my top ten.

At the end of the movie you hear a bit of sting which really took me back to the fantastic album โ€˜all this timeโ€™ which was recorded at stings Italian villa on the same day as the attacks on the trade center in america. I watched a documentary about this โ€˜liveโ€™ album being recorded and how they all came together and said they had to do it to show that they couldnโ€™t be silenced or at least to do the album as a mark of respect of those that lost their lives on that incredible jolting day that impacted the world.

Some days in this van can really feel like we are actually operating a Tardis, like Iโ€™m the doctor and dayle is the doctors mate, some days itโ€™s the other way around and Iโ€™m the doctors mate (no we donโ€™t play doctors in other ways ha!) take this morning, I opened the door to snow, a blanket of snow across the field, covering the car โ€” I thought someone was weird when I got up late around 10:30am and felt the floor feel oh so very cold.

Some routines however remain, some new in fact like having cod liver oil tablets and gingko leaf, although Iโ€™m not having that everyday because with coffee as well Iโ€™m literally manifesting a laser brain throughout the day, you gotta break up that day with fun, walking and general exercise too right? Iโ€™m glad Iโ€™ve got a partner that wants to do all those things, wants to be mobile and just up for whatever adventures we wanna get into.

Like itโ€™s funny how things you do feed into your ideas and thought processes, we watched a great little documentary called โ€˜California Typewriterโ€™ it was fantastic about legacy of typewriters and how so many people liked the permanence of the physical paper component and the clink and clonk of the hammers connected to the keys, they did a really good job to cover the typewriters introduction, repairs and proponents of using one in their daily lives.

it was fantastic and was smiling and nodding throughout realising that in some ways my words no longer exist just in a a note pad or a lonely website but are now together with lots of other words existing on many computers around the world.

We also watched another one called โ€˜Dealtโ€™ the inspiring story of sixty-two year old Richard Turner who is renowned as one of the world's greatest card magicians, it was simply fantastic โ€” itโ€™s a must watch, well both are must watches actually, if you want to process something interesting today then check the both out, they certainly opened up my creativity and thoughtfulness pores while watching, both of us sat with our selected bottles of wines (we decided to get a bottle each!) โ€” a late birthday treat, Iโ€™m told itโ€™s ok to celebrate your birthday for at least a week.

we are all time travellers now

every time I turn up here at the keyboard recently Iโ€™ve felt like a digital time traveller, everything seems merged together, Iโ€™ve started to feel this overwhelming sense of ordering happening, things I need to do right now, consider for tomorrow, aim to have out soon, itโ€™s felt very much like a race, every year when I reached my birthday Iโ€™d have this feeling, I guess itโ€™s just the feeling of wanting to get everything in, our ultimate expression of who we are and what we are able to do while we are here.

i think crypto has a lot to do with the way i make my decisions now, writing has become my tether back to a reality that I have some level of control over, whenever I used to commute on the train or buses Iโ€™d pull out the iPad and wireless keyboard or the MacBook Air, I loved that little 11โ€ thing even thou the screen was terrible โ€” even in some of the dark moments, Iโ€™d write, write about where I was at, what I was doing.

even thou Iโ€™m not versed in the ways of market trading I do feel more accountable to each day than every before. I think itโ€™s the fusion of the time dripping through the life hourglass and the โ€˜conditionsโ€™ that Iโ€™ve put on myself to be in a different place and space in time in the next few years, I think Iโ€™ve had a bunch of junction points in my life that have been physical space markers for me to stop, look up, looking around and realise Iโ€™m in the wrong space and itโ€™s time to move.

if you were a kid in the eighties that grew up in computers and loved them you have already been living connected full time in the web, for the last few decades we have already been fully connected and immersed in this technology, just look at our social networks โ€” Iโ€™ve been on youtube for over eleven years, twitter for twelve, forget VR we have well and truly lived inside this world inside a world for a long period of time already, it can be difficult to snap out to the real world outside the window.

the rise of the blockchain human

Just think of all the things that you did before blockchain, all the transactions you made on social networks that didnโ€™t have any acknowledgement, all those dead and empty comment boxes, the amount of times you reloaded or revisited the page to see if anyone saw the effort and work you put in to be self expressive, to reach out, to try and build a remote connection with another human out there in the world.

Blockchain has already become a very important facet to the way I interact with the outside world, itโ€™s my number one thing to learn and focus on, I want everything in my life to be blockchain powered, I want to see more creative mashups developed on the access to those human nodes of open data silos. Imagination I believe is the strongest things in the world that could actually save it from the path of destruction at times I feel itโ€™s on.

time to top up the connectivity

Feeling the connection feeling throttled this morning, itโ€™s five days over my usual PAYG connection and Iโ€™m sure Iโ€™ve already moved โ€˜terabytesโ€™ of data this month on this 4g connection, time to load up that thirty five bucks to get that feed back to the mothership loaded up โ€” donโ€™t you feel like we are already our own little blade runners? I donโ€™t know about you but Iโ€™m excited for the designer personal real life stim packs, designer human upgrades, after all, if we donโ€™t understand it and are in control of it, who will be?

Ok, time for planning for the rest of the week day, nothing to intense, think Iโ€™ve already had my intense writing morning for the day โ€” oh btw, great to see SBD at $8.22 โ€” took a bit of my blogging rewards out, felt like I paid myself for yesterday and today and that kinda gives me the mental offset to concentrate on being relaxed out my output, thus allowing that output to be better because Iโ€™m not stressed about how to earn from my usual clients, is that not some kind of remote working utopia? Love that! :)

This week is gonna be a good week โ€” I can feel it, expect video ;)

yum! that sounds like a great breakfast! I agree with you about finding it hard to snap back to reality at times, that is why I love my dogs. They are a grounding force and just sitting with them stroking them makes you live in the moment. Also getting out of the house every day taking a long walk helps to break up the boredom of mundane life at times. I am so happy that SBD is heading upwards again, mainly because I have been finding it hard to rebuild my lost SP from a stupid trade I did a few weeks back! I am about halfway there now. Right, I must get some coffee before we head out to play in the snow! yey! :D Have a great day!

hey thanks for the comment. yeah we need grounding in reality when we can live like our lives are virtual reality a lot of the time. animals are great for that! that's why we loved the cat cafe last week.

I am always following your writing, I like your articles very well.
Your writing is very useful for me, so I wait for your post. I keep coming to you that a lot better writing like this that you post regularly for us. We ap

thanks man, very kind.

Wellcome.....friend

More and more, I don't want to come back to reality. Of course, I've got personal obligations that pull me in. I admire your 21st-Century Gypsy lifestyles.

even admiration in the 21st century is interesting to me -- i also respect your personal obligations! :) we all have something we need to give care and attention too.

Chorizo in an omelette sounds pretty epic and one I may try next weekend. The Hairy Bikers have a Spanish Chicken diet meal that I love so I'll make a batch of that and have some Chorizo left over.

We've not had much in the way of snow in Norfolk in the past few months - just a sprinkling the day I decided to go Christmas shopping. It was suggested we may have a few days back but I've not checked the forecast since as I don't have to leave the house until Tuesday.

i love chorizo but kinda only have it every other month as a bit of a treat, it's absolutely killer in an omelette, trust me on that, i obviously cook that up first and have the pan real hot like the chinese make omelettes, flash the eggs in and out and into a sandwich or with some sriache on top.

Will green pepper work do you think?
