I find myself guilty of the 3 year deadline. Most of my relationships fizzle out around this time, typically because I have moved on emotionally and my partner doesn't offer much anymore. Certainly something I'm exploring more and working on, because I'd love to have a love that lasts a lifetime, or close to it.
