The commander of the Brezhnev "Crimea".

in #life7 years ago

I want to remember a good friend of our family captain, 2 rank ,
the commander of the border patrol vehicle special service, "Krym",
Polanski Yuri.
Today I remember it helped, donated to them once
photo with Yuri Gagarin, from the family album.

The ship "Crimea" was built and launched in 1978-1979, in the city of Leningrad
factory "Diamond" and a special interior trim was made to plant them. A. A. Zhdanov (now - "Northern shipyard"). "Crimea" was a part of the division of governmental guard boats based in Yalta.

"Crimea" was the government yacht Leonid Brezhnev,
and the owner of the ship was the border troops of the KGB.

G. Polyansky studied in the high command of the naval College in Leningrad.
And his wife studied at the Institute of Soviet trade
and lived in a hostel in one room with my mom.
They began their shared friendship, which has passed through life.

Yuri Grigoryevich was a very interesting and unusual life
but he almost did not tell ,
having such a responsible service.
Fellow officers spoke of him,
it's sort of on this place
because he has three drawbacks:
does not drink, does not smoke, women do not like...

But once my mom and I were with him on the ship
and even in the cabin of Leonid Brezhnev came.
Under Brezhnev in the wardroom hung Tajik handmade carpet,
depicting the coat of arms and flags of the Soviet Union.
And in the private cabin was a carpet in the form of a huge butterfly made of fine fur.
"Crimea," there have been various guests of the Secretary General,
but uncle Yura almost anything never told -such service.

And as the ship "Crimea" was a part of the night in the Bay of Yalta
a real "flying Dutchman":
he is white with tinted black Windows,
just glow lights.
Handsome!

Such beautiful, newest ships
in the Soviet Union there were two:
"Crimea" and "Caucasus".
After the division of the country
everyone stayed in their facilities.

As captain 2nd rank Yu. Polyansky resigned,
moved from Yalta to Balaklava and on March 4, 2014, the died.
The guys who served with him and knew him wrote:
"Eternal memory to a real sailor and a real guard!
He was a model sailor!"

One of the teams of the ship "Crimea".

Спасибо, Оксана!

мне особенно понравились фотографии моряков в парадной форме... я видела таких в 1980-м в Ялте и в Севастополе
