It all comes down to entropy.

Easier to destroy than create, easier to just let it all fall into ruin than put in the energy to restore order.

The universe is battling against you, every step of the way. Its somewhat amazing we've been able to carve out a niche in this chaotic world.

But for those that are able to maintain their own bubble of order, congrats. For others it isn't so easy sometimes.
