Political situation at the end of the century

Bengal was bifurcated as a tragic condition of independence of 1947- West Bengal and East Pakistan. West Bengal was born with many problems. There was a balance between the economic situation of the United States. East Bengal was the head of agriculture, therefore East Bengal was the food grain and raw material. And West Bengal was the industry chief. West Bengal had to rely on East Bengal for food grains and raw materials. After bifurcation, these physical equilibrium collapses. Then West Bengal was a densely populated area. That means, there was already a lack of accommodation here. He gradually made the needy intensify from the other people coming from other provinces. This problem has become more acute when millions of Hindus came from East Bengal to West Bengal due to security reasons.

When West Bengal was formed, then under the leadership of Pf. Chandul Ghosh, a 'shadow minister' took control of the state. But within four-five months the cabinet broke. In January 1948, Dr. Bidhashchandra Roy formed a new cabinet. Normally, the solution to the difficulties West Bengal faced was to pressurize the new cabinet. Biswanchandra resolved the problems of West Bengal once and for all, till his death, being Chief Minister for 18 years.
