RE: ⏺ Climbing the ladder of success! My opinion! Part 2

in #life7 years ago

Completely agreed!

And just staying inbetween four walls not doing anything and being lazy is, in my opinion, the fastest way to feeling down, sad and depressed. The more you go out and into the world, the more you push yourself, the happier a (wo)man you become!

Thanks for the quality reply! :D And yes, very important:

Do as you feel is good for you!

Likewise! Read you around! :D

I totally agree!

For me specifically, I am in hustle and grind mode. I currently try sacrifice almost every second I have spare into trying to improve expand.

But I can safely say, one of these days, when I am retired, I am going to be out enjoying life, and just having a great time. I cannot wait!

staying inbetween four walls not doing anything and being lazy is, in my opinion, the fastest way to feeling down

Totally agreed! It very much is so. Mainly for the lazy part haha

when I am retired, I am going to be out enjoying life, and just having a great time

I do agree, but to a certain extent. I don't like the mindset of "I need to suffer now to enjoy myself later". That way you keep telling yourself you are suffering and therefore indeed are suffering.

I enjoy what I do, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, but at the end of the day I'm happy I worked my ass off hardest. It's not just the final destination that matters, it's the journey. The challenges we face on the road to success are half the fun! :D

I am certain you yourself are like this aswell, but those words can be understood much differently aswell.

WOW man I just love the way you described that. Honestly, that was awesome.

You are most certainly correct. The journey is the fun!! There is no real destination. It's 100% journey up until (I presume) the point of death.

I actually like to say I work my ass off actually hahaha, but the for me is, I enjoy the grind. It is a journey on it's own. Sure it's exhausting, and sometimes I really question myself with the things I do, but it's a journey in it's own.

I definitely agree that going the more stable (but still hardworking) way is great. I am also a believer in doing 'launches', and not just starting something. Doing the grind, means you are going 10X. There is no rest. It's hectic, but at the same time, the longer-term rewards are 10X. It is not sustainable to remain this way, but when starting anything, I do believe in going absolutely all out.

However, after 3-6 months of grind, it is definitely necessary to pull it back a notch, and start living a far more balanced life.

Nice point of view :)

Thanks ^^

Exactly! And let's be honest here, you, nor I, fall in a group of people that would even be able to just lay down and do nothing. We neeeeeed stuff going on. We need the challenge! :D

True. Starting something out is the hardest. Always. But looking back at how much you've done and how many people you've affected, is all damn worth it! :D

Couldn't agree more that sometimes you indeed need to go out of overcharge. I've had a burnout myself and am at times still feeling consequence. So now I have to force myself to take it a little easier. Imagine the horrors haha :D

Oh WOW yeah. It's pretty crazy hey.

I can understand if you have been burnt out.. I am also taking a break every hour today, just to get back a clear mind. I would definitely say it's not possible to work for 18 hours haha. We need breaks.

I can imagine the horrors..

We are only human after all. ^.^"

Hell yeah we are! But we are also limited humans :) I think if we were using more of our potential, we could take the 'only' right out of 'only human' :)

Indeed we could! :D :D

So let's give it our best and more to do so! :D
