THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT
There is this theory that if a butterfly flaps it's wing at just the right moment, it could setup off a wave that could travel half way across the world and become a hurricane. This effect grants the power to cause a hurricane in China to a butterfly flapping its wings in New Mexico. It may take a very long time, but the connection is real.
Of course this is just a theory, but if a little butterfly could have such devastating effects on so many human lives, how much more we humans.
We are in the holiday season, when sharing, kindness and love is encouraged.
A little stone dropped in water can set off ripples that can span for several meters, even in the absence of the stone. So also can your seemingly worthless displays of love and kindness be so memorable for the live that experience it, even when we may not be there.
It should be worth remembering that even
one little act of kindness can lead have a ripple effect that will change many lives.
Let us show boundless love and kindness to all we come across, because it might just have the butterfly effect or we could just start that ripple effect.
Just as little drops of water can form an ocean, so can our individual acts of kindness pit together make the world better.
