This is a thought-provoking article. Sometimes a hammer is required because it is the right tool for the job. But often times another tool is needed. The problem arises when we do not have access to that tool or we don't know how to use it properly (I have seen people try to use a heavy wrench as a hammer).

As we grow as people, we (hopefully) acquire more tools and more knowledge. But as is common with most of us we run back to what is most "comfortable" and that is often times a hammer.
