RE: The Journey

I also thought it was fiction knowing how talented you are, sorry to hear this was real life. When I saw the links to other prior pieces I had to go check those out as well. Concussions take several months in some cases to get back to normal, my youngest boy took a knock to the head in May of last year and it was around Christmas before he actually seemed like his old self again. What ever you do don't push yourself on doing things, it takes time to heal.

I'm going to take that as a compliment :)

The scary thing is I don't know how much of my mind fog is from the concussion, and how much is from the mental trauma- the post traumatic stress! Needless, I'm feeling my brain is slowly healing. There is a little less fog, and struggling to find words today, so for that I'm grateful.

But I'm still taking it really easy because I'm well aware of the dangers, and it frightens me...

It was meant as a compliment for sure, may not have come across as that but, you are very talented and could have easily written that with all the details without ever leaving your couch or desk, you are that great at writing.

Well, it actually did come across as you meant for it :) Coincidentally, Mr. S said the same thing to me the other day- "You are a great writer. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if your audience thinks the posts about your accident are fiction."

Your thoughts make me proud :) Thank you!
