Health ( not only physical but mental)

The world health organization defines health as the state of complete physical, mental and social well being, not just the absence of disease. It also state that there can't be health without mental health.

Many people do not realize and often underestimate the importance of good health. Health as they say is wealth. Good health is necessary, to carry out daily task. When discussing health many people could consider the condition of their body and forget about the condition of their minds or their mental well being free from physical aspect of health. It also means being healthy in mind.

Mental health or healthy mind will help you find your way through life. The role of mind and emotions in our state of health appears to be vital one. Poor mental health or unhealthy mind increases the risk that an individual may develop chronic physical health problems. Poor health mind has negative impact on physical health in many ways. For example, stress and depressive state often causes severe headache, hypertension e.t.c Also it's known that stress and anxiety aggreviate the symptoms of asthma. Poor mental health leads to unhealthy. Good mental health offers you of feeling of well being and the inner strength needed. Good mental health conditions are also known to weaken system and amplifies the possibility of developing chronic physical disease. Good mental health can be maintained by the following. (I) develop a good opinion of yourself, high self esteem is the best tool we can use against difficulties in life (ii) healthy diet - healthy diet plays a crucial role in mental and physical health (iii) exercise - physical exercise plays a positive role in your mental life (iv) learning how to manage stress - stress is part of life, so you must learn how to deal with it in order to keep your sanity (v) get enough sleep - lack of sleep affect mental health as it can cause emotional and psychological problems. (vi) mental health can also be maintained by avoiding bad sleep - sleep deprivation leads to poor state of mental health.

Very few individuals take the time care for themselves with busy life style and schedules, however, taking care of yourself is the best way of ensuring you live a long healthy life, not only physically but mentally.
