The Essence of Recognition and Appreciation; Why People Aim for Such
Reading this, definitely there is already a realization, but as we go along into reading, are there any acceptance within us that this is exactly how we act, aware or unaware? Can we recall any circumstances that we acted as such whether It may be a task completed at home, a perfect test in school, a completed report at work and others?
How are we going to deal with greed and hunger for recognition when we encounter it from others?
There is definitely a reason why there is such hunger for people to be praised and recognized; again it will all boil down to deprivation. Deprivation of attention at home, or deprivation of recognition during the younger years.
Acceptance – accept that not everyone among us had sufficient appreciation of who we are when we were kids, accept that there are people who need support and they are acting such way unintentionally because of this.
Be a Support Person – I know it’s hard to support someone who may seem to be irritating but if we learn to accept the reason behind this attitude, we will be the best person to support someone who needs appreciation. Time will come this person will have enough of the recognition he needs hence will do the same to other people.
Be an Adviser – Help these people understand when appreciation should be expected and how to handle disappointment.
Be a Referee – This person might be working a lot and have dedicated so much. Stop them, and tell them the need to chill out and relax. People who are working so hard are the ones who are seeking for recognition.
All of us wants to be recognized and appreciated, some people just do not care, what’s important is we understand if we really have done enough for a job to be done, we don’t expect too much and we know how to deal with people longing for too much recognition and appreciation.
Recognition and appreciation starts from appreciating ourselves, and we should be contented only by that. We should be happy with how we are as a person, validation from others isn’t really necessary we have to believe in ourselves first and everything else will follow.
Sit back, relax and work from your heart, there is no greater feeling of happiness and contentment if we have accomplished something effortless because it came from the heart.

Indeed so true. We should never rely our success on other people. We should work hard and do our best to succeed and to get the spot light. Just be thankful on everything we received and learn how to appreciate all of those no matter how small or big it is. This content should be upvoted a 100% and be resteemed.
