As we approached to the end of the year, Thailand begins to get a little bit cooler; from 30 Celsius to its 20s on a good day. This doesn't stays long because we are very close to the equator, thus we try to relish these moments of chill breeze we much as we can.

During December, my country is a desirable destination from the northern hills to the southern seas. We attract many tourists with many activities and cultural seen to explore.

✨✨Wonderfruit 2017✨✨

This year, starting from the 14 to 17 of December comes an amazing festival call Wonderfruit. This is its fourth year to filled us all with activities, music, art and colorful hippie lifestyle. People from all around the world gathered here for the occasion.

It is located in Pattaya which is fairly closed to the capital (Central of Thailand), what you need to do is to fly to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport and take a bus, van or taxi for approximately 2 hours to the location.

Entrance

You can purchase the all 4 days ticket or weekends only with cheaper prices if bought in advance during the early bird phase. I got mine only last month at 5,000 Baht for all 4 days since it was my first experience attending this event, I wanted to get the full observation.

As you register to enter the big field, a RFID band will be given to access all 4 days, you must not take it off and use this for purchase food and beverage as well. There is a Top up Station all around the event so just make sure you add some money during the the opening times.

Vibes

Personally, I think that the vibrant vibes of this festival is similar to the Coachella in California but also has a touch the Woodstock in the sense of green,nature theme and unfettered creative expression. The slogan of this year is “Live Love Wonder”. You can choose to stay on location in tents if you want the fullest participation of the fest or go for various selections of hotels; from motels to 5 stars accommodations nearby in Pattaya City.

Green

Since the theme is environmental friendly, they offered free water-refill stands and solar panel phone charging stations for all wanderers along with organic raw juice bars and artsy recycling bins included.

Party With Flower Crowns On

As the sun started to fall, more people approached the park and some performances started to play. People went ahead and danced, Playing with hula hoops, bouncing on trampolines, chilling on top of buses and plus all the food stand began to get busy. At this point i realized that the party only started now.

Loving Life

I ended up spending the whole night there enjoying the outdoor lounges, sitting on grass, trying out International cuisines and exploring the music at each stage of the event while stopped and watched numerous of fire shows . It was a memorable joy to end the year with this festival.

I met people from all around the world and exchanged interesting conversations. We ran from stages to stages wild & free. I became fully aware of time again when the sun started dawning on the next day and it was breath taking.

a ruler of the skies.
