He was a poet, story writer, song writer, composer, dramatist, social reformer and philospher.
His songs, poems are life oriented. You will find a Tagore poem, song for every phase of your life, be it happiness, sorrow, love and anything else. He received Nobel prize in 1912 for "Gitanjali", a book containing collection of his songs.
Even today he makes his presence felt through his creations.
His creations will never go outdated. They are suitable for all generations.
