Been Doing a Little Work Part 3 - Room 2
Cleaning and Preparing is always way harder and more time consuming that actually doing the job especially when there is a lot of junk and stuff to move and clean.
The original ceiling is pretty bad, full of holes and broken plaster. We foamed sealed the smaller holes and closed the bigger gaps with left pieces of drywall and foam sealer. I guess that is why they went with a drop ceiling, since the roof leaked, but mostly doesn’t now since the owner reroofed the building (“mostly” because there are still a few small spots that leak).
The drop ceiling tiles were removed as well as the fluorescent lights and housings, and then the metal frame was painted from white to black. The tiles will be painted grey. New LED style lights were installed with a dimmer switch.
The walls had all nails and screws removed preparing for the new drywall. New electrical wire and receptacles have been installed as well as network cable.
And of course the floor in this room is now about 80% done.
Break time for a day or two, then back to the project.

Ese es cierto @streetstyle la parte mas dificil a veces no es el trabajo en si sino despúes el limpiar pero lo bueno fue que se pudo terminar el trabajo y esperemos se pueda solucionar el problema que tenemos con el Internet por que resultó que la avería es mucho más complicada de lo que pensaba

I remember from back when I did some remodelling that indeed the hardest work can be taking down the old and preparing for the new,
