now? for Westerners, damn near everything is handed to us, and as long as we parrot the Narrative, we are assured our place in the sun...
...well for the middle-upper class and the rich, anyway. The working class and entrepreneurs still have to grind it out to get the goodies for their kids...

in the third world, purpose is still centered on survival; not as much time for navel-gazing and no health care plan to take care of a shrink's co-pay ;>
