Islamic Center Building (The Activities, Photos, Stories)

Right in the heart of the city of Lhokseumawe, there is a wonderful building, a magnificent, which was built 16 years ago, ie in 2001. At that time, North Aceh district head who had just returned from Morocco has the initiative to build a building that can be used for various activities relating to religion, culture, and other community activities, in order to unite all circles, which is the people of Aceh.

This building not only serves as a mosque or place of worship as usual, because under this huge building there is a library, arts councils, the offices of private institutions and governments, and there is an auditorium that can be used for seminars and community activities.

North Aceh district head, Tarmizi A Karim, gave the name "Islamic Center" as a notice, that this building will be recorded in the pages of history of Aceh, a meeting place of various circles. I saw this building is never empty, there are always visitors, in addition to prayer, which is just look around and take pictures in front of this mosque.

Here I share photos of some side of this building, which I shoot from time to time, until this moment, knowing it, I use my smartphone, so the result is still unsatisfactory. Forgive me.

This is a photo of the rear of the building of the Islamic Center, the field is still dewy, soon there will be a lot of people here, doing gymnastics in the morning after the morning prayer. This building, to the back unfinished, and still under repair.

Ahead of Daylight

This is a photo of the front Islamic Center building, I took when daylight, has not entered midday time. When the afternoon, the call to prayer rang out from mosques Islamic Center building, and can be heard by everyone who lives in the town of Lhokseumawe, especially who live closer to it. This mosque loudspeakers and radio, therefore, the radio signal coming into each home and shops along the main street and in the corners of the city.

Beautiful Night

The atmosphere of the evenings in front of the Islamic Center, people will be hurried here to pray maghrib and isha, the building accompanied by a palm plant in front of this makes it more beautiful view of the mosque. On the front is also used as a parking lot, because it has no underground parking areas. The government still working on it.

Activities inside

Friday prayers worshipers were listening to sermons from preachers who shared insights into life and goodness. In contrast to the usual lectures, lectures in mosques do not talk about things that are humor, violence, and more talk about the counsels for the good of mankind.

Activities Outside

The pilgrims park their vehicles in front of the mosque, and when returning from mosques, orderly them out to return back to their respective homes. Many people who rarely meet, but they met here, and talking to each other outside the mosque. Familiarity, friendship and brotherhood are felt when returning serve.
