RE: Successful People vs Unsuccessful People - Where do you place?
Very good topic, it just might help someone grow as a person after some introspecting... I wanted to resteem but cannot, nothing happens when I click the Resteem button - what's up with that? Also, I think (not 100% sure) in The great Gatsby somewhere Fitzgerald tells us about successful people in such a way: a small twig that falls into the wild river. The river then throws it around for some time and then spits it out on the other bank. And the twig goes: "I swam over the wild river!" Well, there you have it - sometimes successful people take to much credit for their success. Do you think the writer was unsuccessful at the time? :)
Hmm...sometimes you need to refresh your browser. It bugs out sometimes and you can't upvote or resteem. I've had that happen a few times. Or you'll get an error message. Just refresh your browser and it should be fine :)
By the way - just to clear a possible misunderstanding.. I meant to resteem your video on dtube, not your entire post here on steemit... I was tired and wasn't thinking quite straight I guess, but still - seems there's a bug on dtube for resteeming there (three dots under the video)...
And to answer your question, it depends how you define "success" I guess. I see someone who is successful as something holistic and all encompassing. And one of those parts is self-confidence. I believe confident people are not afraid to give the river credit ;) most truly successful people acknowledge the circumstances and people and Divine Intervention that came along their path to get them to where they are :)
both your replies deserve an upvote in my book! ;)
