Day 2- 30 Day Workout Challenge- Lose the Ego
One of the most important things that I need to remember in the gym is to lose the ego. You may look at the weights your lifting and try to go heavy because you think you can or because you want to push yourself, but don't sacrifice form because of your ego.
My back is a weak area for me and doing low back extensions, I started off using a 45 lb plate. Sure, I can do it, but its a struggle. Lose the ego, ditch the plates, and work on form.
Just showing up is a win. You don't need to show up and kill yourself because you can. Push yourself, but work out smart.
