How steemit has changed my life? It hasn't because steemit is a scam, or at most, people on this platform are scammers. What do I mean? Look at the posts especially those that do well. Most are cyber computer drivel that are fake information. None of the hot trends in the crypto world has been discovered by a steemit post. Most of these posts are just hucksters trying to get you to buy some garbage cryptocurrency. It's innovative you say? How? Dtube part of steemit is a video sharing platform that rarely works but always seems to work for the Adam Kokesh and the Anarchopulco hucksters."Hey guys we believe in libertarianism too in fact follow us and our group and pay us so that you can be a individualist". Dlive a platform where it's always trending but nobody streams or watches. How about the thousand dollar posts that are about life experiences and introductions and shit. Honestly who really cares about this shit. If people actually did than Reader's Digest would be the all time selling magazine. So how do all these posts make money, easy they all use pools and wait for a sucker to upvote. It's a pump and dump. If you're not part of the gang don't expect anybody to upvote your posts unless he is a bot or something. And speaking about bots. About half of steemit's traffic is bots. There are good posts on steemit but you will notice something after awhile nobody is upvoting.

I am new in Steemit been here only 2 weeks and I am finding out new things all the time. If it is as you stated then what chance we the newcomers get to be upvoted?
There are good articles but if you notice the best ones have few upvotes. Just don't expect upvotes.
Participate in discords, and other contact points to create your followers, it's just like any other blogging tool, it's your followers that reward you. Nobody said it's an easy win job ...
Hello!!! It can be as you say, i mean Steem is certainly not what a noob expects when register here. I post always an absolutely original content which i create 100% and i wonder if somebody reads it... There are some people that make some money here but as i can understand until now this people are main nucleus of the platform and using bots and their ps power they dominate the steem. When i upvote as I did for your article there is rarely a reply or upvote to my article and i post to Telegram channels just to attract some readers, curators or upvoters. Steem can be a revolutionary platform but until now i see only a centralization trend which become more and more powerful pushing the small creators of original content out of the party... You explained it better than my post. At the beggining Steemit had real posts and it was more authentic but only a few months later it became a hollow shell. I would only use steemit has a secondary platform.
Thanks for the reply! Well yes, it should be better for steem to change a bit the "rules" but this needs time i guess. Nevertheless we, small creators here, can create our zone of influence (if i can call it so) and follow our evolution curating and upvoting each other. for this need is to be organized and in contact.
