What if the entire world went "Off the grid"
If you look around, and see all of these megacities all over the world you'll notice that most people live in these!
Now here in Central U.S. we are used to a lot of LAND ( including farms, miles of cows, solar fields, and wind farms)

Going off grid
I assume with 7.4 billion people in the world it might be difficult to have a farm for EVERYBODY in the world, but what would it be like if a lot more people tried.Going off grid doesn't mean that you have to sleep in a tent, and use the bathroom in the woods..
Or even going out to the middle of nowhere!

Also for those of us if not all of us who enjoy "staying connected" it seems like more and more everyday technology is launched that improves the ability to connect the entire world!
So even if we're still "Off the grid" we can still be connected :D

Interesting thought experiment. I think a more sustainable method is for neighborhood grids using a myriad of methods for power generation.
