Ahhhh this resonates with me! This is how I raise my kids. People get super confused if they find out I do not spank them or ground them. There is no need. They learn from natural consequences and behave because they know why they need to. They are kind to one another because they understand why it is hurtful to treat others badly. They listen to me, not because Ill spank them if they dont, its because they realize that I DO know what Im talking about, and Im saying it for a reason.
