Amazon Reminder Congress Should Have Minimum-Age Limit

Wow. For the longest time I have been an advocate of Congressional-term limits.

Typically, this is to insure that officials don’t become party dictators; powerhouse influencers of newcomers to the House. I don’t believe career politicians is what our Founding Fathers wanted for our country.

For these reasons, amongst others, I am for term-limits.

But, today, this post is about limits of an entirely different kind.

This post is about implementing a law that would put a minimum-age on becoming a member of Congress.

Typically, and unfortunately too frequently, people blindly vote a straight ticket. On either side of the political coin this is a bad mix of laziness and irresponsibility, which also makes me want to raise the minimum-voting age to 21; but, that wouldn’t change the lack of DYR, straight-ticket voting.

To avoid digressing, this post is about raising the age to become a Congressional member to a 'mature' 35.

A recent 28-year-old, with no substantial experience, has cost a major city in dire need for jobs, a whopping 25K jobs; all based on political rhetoric, that was anti the hopes of the constituents who voted for her. Another ‘out-of-nowhere’ candidate emerged to lead before earning the vote of citizens.

Typical of people with no experience and a lot of power, she had more talk than knowledge. It’s like giving a 5-yo the keys to the car and saying drive. She’s spewing such cra’ dialogue that she’s beginning to get alt-names.

I didn’t think it could get worse than saying the rich should be taxed at 70%; but it did.

Those who voted her in, can only do the right thing in two years by exercising the power of the vote. According to stats, in two years most of the people who voted for her will have left the state, as it seems people are moving out in droves. In fact, this state has the number one spot for those out-migrating.

Btw, I’m reminded how many cities vied for this powerhouse company to settle in their city. At last search, it seems that Tennessee or Virginia may be in for a late Christmas gift in an Amazon box.
