Fishing gear on the winter Moscow river

In winter, spinning fishing on the " hot " Moscow river, there are three main approaches to catching a predator.
The first-night fishing on wobblers. The main trophy - pike perch, coming out at night to the upper edge of the eyebrows to hunt. Comes across and other fish (pike, ASP, Chub), but the target trophy night spinners - still fanged.
The second approach is traditional fishing with classic jig using the standard set of lures for the winter - small twisters, foam fish, mandoli, streamers ( fur, Christmas tree rain, etc.), less vibrohvosta to 10 centimeters. Catch mainly on channel pits ( inputs and outputs), places with the return current (behind capes and braids), on the ditches washed by a current. Weight of goods, depending on the fishing conditions from 10 grams up to 50+. Major trophies: pike, perch, Bursch. Often podbadrivaya carp (carp), carp and bream, which warm the Moscow river divorced a great many... But in the winter the fish often so passive that traditional jig to catch become very difficult. And then come to the aid of spaced snap-in type Carolina, Texas and drop the leash. These snap bring bite and at least some little bit of catch almost always.

These snap-in and in the summer sometimes I save many anglers trip when the reservoir with bite really bad. And in winter become a lifesaver. Applying them in the most hopeless day, at least for a bite and catch a perch it is possible to count safely. Most importantly - always have a roll of fluorocarbon ( at worst simple manolescu) with a diameter of 0.22-0.3 mm and a couple of swivels. Weights in a pinch you can use and those that you use for hinge installation jig lures. In extreme cases, come even jig head the right weight)). I had no time to collect the snap from just a little bit right , what was in my boxes. The aesthetics of the gear is secondary when you really want to see the bite and to go from "zero"...
Winter animation of these snap-ins-ultra-slow wiring with continuous bottom control sinker. The tackle has literally dragging the weight along the bottom, feeling for any roughness. The bite feels like a clear jab followed by pataikos ( when bass already chewed the bait and went on about their business). At this point, and you should make a short trip and start towing.
To tackle this, in principle, caught walleye, Bursch, pike. But the main trophy is still perch, and often large perch. All types of the carried snap-ins rather long-range, allow to catch large areas and quickly to find though a little active fish.

By the way, you need to keep in mind these snap-ins at all times of the year. They are versatile, suitable for fishing at any depth ( I had to pick out with their help perch with Bugrov at a depth of 40-50 cm) and very profitable. Fish without fear takes the bait, not burdened by the weight of the sinker, as in the classic jig snap, where the load is actually connected to the bait. I recommend to all the fisherwomen to have "emergency" kit for the rapid collection of Carolina or discharge in their boxes with spare parts and consumables...
