Kim Källström is back in Djurgården

Kim Källström played in Djurgården 2002 and 2003, we won the league both 2002 and 2003 and the cup 2003 (where we beat aik with 1-0).
Kim has since played in Rennes, Lyon, Arsenal, Spartak Moscow and Grasshoppers. He has also played 131 games for Sweden national football team.

Summer 2016

Summer 2016, Andreas Isaksson came back to Djurgården. Rumours about Kim Källström started, Kim and Andreas are very close friends which is the reason anyone could even dream about Kim coming back.

Winter 2016/2017

Rumours got more intense, we actually started believe it could be true.
All of a sudden Kim from nowhere left his current club, Grasshopper Club Zürich.
Djurgården Hockey played a game the same day, or well night.

The intermission between period 1 and 2

Djurgården Football's sports manager, Bosse Andersson, wrote on Twitter that news would come in 30 minutes, instantly first the website died and after that the telecom network around the arena got overloaded and didn't work. My friend and I went nuts, it was one of the most fun games I've ever been at. Not because of the hockey game, no, because we were ALL together when Bosse Andersson tweeted that.

30 minutes later

Since the website and the internet died we we're all stressed out, everyone checking different sources. All of a sudden we saw who it was, it wasn't Kim... It was Aliou Badji. We were all disappointed, not because we didn't like the transfer but because nothing can be compared with Kim Källström coming back.

A few weeks later

Ten days later there were rumours that Kim was at a specific hotel in Stockholm under another name. No one saw him and we all thought it was just lies.
The very next day, Kim was presented. He's back. Kim Källström came back to Djurgården 15 years after leaving for Rennes.

Kim Källström is back

Kim went back to Switzerland after being presented, the day after he arrived at Arlanda, Sweden again.
Hundreds of Djurgårdensupporters greeted him, which you can see here:

Kim Källström still has it. That man is a very good fotball player.
No one was sure how good he was when he came back, we got to see that after his first game. Every pass was correct, I've never seen anyone pass the ball exactly on another players foot like that in Sweden before.

Today

Kim Källström is our captain today, he hasn't scored any goal yet but because the opponents has to focus on him the others can score instead.
I've never seen Djurgårdens IF play as good football as they do right now.

I will post more about Djurgården Football in the upcoming weeks. I'm going to write about Jonas Olsson, Gustav Engvall and the whole team.

In two days we have a game against Aik. Our rivals, our antagonists. I will also write a post about that later on, right now I don't have the nerves for it. All I can feel is anxiety because of that game, it's a game WE MUST win.
