"On Aug. 21, a rare total solar eclipse will be visible crossing the entire length of United States. Although the path of totality will only be visible along a narrow portion of the country, most people outside of the band will see a near-total or partial eclipse. "
The 2017 solar eclipse event is fast approaching. Only a few more days till the United States is sole witness to a total solar eclipse spanning the entire length of the United States from Oregon to South Carolina. Only those in the direct path of the eclipse will see it in its full totality but the moon eclipsing the sun will be seen across the country.
During this Great American Solar Eclipse, Hopkinsville, Kentucky will be the point of greatest eclipse, where the moon’s axis passes closest to earth when the eclipse reaches totality at 1:24 p.m. CT. Hopkinsville and the surrounding area is one of the best places in the nation to view the total eclipse.

Me in Atlanta and we are on the Direct path and will start after Zohor at 2:45 PM till 4:00 pm.
I live in Oregon so the great view came to me! :) theres a lot of smoke from surrounding fires though so hopefully the smoke goes away for better visibility.
I feel like this is really scary .. first time in my lifetime that I'll get to experience this

Yeah there will definitely be footage and I will check it out but still, it's not going to be the same as seeing it with your own eyes.
I wish i could be a part of it .
