Survivor

I recently told you about the aggression imposed by the TV.
And now I think it's very useful to watch TV. (That's something I never thought I'd say 🙃) But it's useful not for being informed by it, not to be educated through it, or to believe the things that appear on the screen.

Television is a very good thing, but it is not used for good purposes, Fellini said. And I absolutely agree. It can nowadays be used only for orientation. Orientation on where the world is going.

So, where are we going now?

There is this reality show Survivor, I've been watching lately. And the things I see there are quite disturbing. Disturbing from any point of view. At least from a human point of view, but that's the least.
I think that these people, or humanity as a whole, have already reached a point that they should not have reached. (You know the history of Atlantis.)

Because I saw on the screen people ready for anything. People who are ready to go through anything, to hurt their comrades, to trample, to crush ... to kill. People who easily lie and cheat, even their close friends, because of the strategy they have built to win the game. Forgetting that this is just a game.
Just imagine, men and women ready for anything, emitting frightening, bloodthirsty, animal energy.
Oh, I know it's "just a show." But viewed through the prism of the recent events and recent years, it doesn't seem to be just a show. I seem to be a normal thing, a standard.

There was only one person who left the show from the beginning, refusing to fight, saying that this is not what he imagined would happen, coming to this show, that this is not the game he came to play. Not this way.
This man was already portrayed as a psychopath. Even before he said he was giving up. So the 'psychopath' refused to play the psychopathic game.
Another man is currently showing signs of morale and he is also about to drop out of the game.

Yes, I know, the name Survivor probably does mean survival, but do all people have to survive that way? Is this the only way?
Maybe yes. Because in WW2 there were cannibals, because people just had to survive. And now I can only wonder - is this what awaits us? Are they preparing us for this?

Therefore - forget all dignity, morals and human principles. Only the most cunning and unprincipled people will survive. Not the strongest. Not the smartest. Certainly not the virtuous ones.
