To find the journey difficult should never be used as an excuse for us not to move forward. Dying with regrets, bitterness, frustrations or sorrow is an indication that we have never learned how to live well. While time flies by, we have to learn what we need to learn so that we could fulfill what we need to fulfill. Distinguished what really matters from those that don’t. To know what gives life meaning and significance is to be wise. Wisdom consists in knowing that now is the time to live, that life is meant to be shared, that the joy of giving is the joy of living.

As human being, we are not ruled simply by instincts. Our nature allows us to create our attitudes and responses to situations. To know how to rule one’s emotions and how to make responsible decisions help us gain inner peace and enduring happiness. Such knowledge prevents unnecessary pains and sorrows to become part of our experiences. We can drive a point or present an issue without resorting to measures which are unjust or violent. Definitely, not everyone will summit to our ideas. In fact, listening to theirs can even bring us better perspectives to certain issues. Not all the people we meet will accept us for who we are. On the contrary, there are those who will disagree with our opinions and express their disapproval to whatever agenda we would like to present.

Life will not always be fair. Accept it that way. Even when you plant the best seeds, someone else will get the best of fruits. It could even be worse than that. Sometimes, the seeds that you sowed are reaped by someone else. This does not eliminate the possibility for us to trust in the goodness of the human heart, to accept ourselves as well as others unconditionally.

We do not wish for an easy life but for life that is worth living. The greatest tragedy of being alive is not death but to squander one’s life away by not exhausting our potentials and capacities. We do not wish for a less challenging existence but for persistent abilities to learn how to grow through challenges. We do not wish for problems but for a discerning mind that handles or overcomes problems so well. In times of comport, we rarely change. It is when our comfort is shaken when we become more willing to improve our conditions. Real life begins outside the comfortable area of our existence. Life becomes worth living when there is constant learning and growing because we use our inner strength to address challenges and difficulties.
