Apathy, spirit of lethargy and slumber

Apathy is the lack of love.

Love is a willingness to give. It is the obligation to change the world.

When there is no love, there is a blindness to evil in the world. This could be an unwillingness to look at the bad and darkness. It could be from a stubbornness to see what is wrong with the world, an “everything is ok” attitude.

But it is through dealing with evil that we get to love. Love requires its presence, without love the world is a poorer place.
