Amazon Go, Have you ever been?

in #life6 years ago (edited)

In January, a new concept 'futuristic supermarket' opened on the first floor of the Amazon headquarters in Seattle.

In this store there is no need to line up to do the calculations!

The inside of the shop is different from other shops, but guests can put their picks in their bags and walk out of the store without having to check with the cashier.
Will these people be taken as thieves?
The answer is no.
If you do not need to make cash or card calculations at the checkout counter, what would be necessary to use this store?
There are only two things you need to take advantage of this store: an Amazon app and a bag to pick up.
How is that possible?
When you pass through the entrance such as a ticket gate, customer information is checked in. Select items are automatically included in the online shopping cart.

Of course, if you drop the item you picked, it will be automatically deleted from your shopping cart.

In fact, customers who used this store expressed the thrill of a new experience as if they were a "thief."
Amazon has yet to reveal how to utilize and expand these unattended store technologies in the future.
There is also a voice in the opinion that it gives convenience with the new revolution of distribution and the possibility of eliminating the jobs of related workers.
What do you think?
Please let me know what you think.
