Life Tips by Uncle Rob -- Doing Laundry and More
As a single guy living in China many Chinese people say I should get a girlfriend to make my life easier. Ridiculous I reply.
It's like every man, in China, should have a girlfriend or wife doing chores around the house. When I first got here it was confusing as to what a man's role in China is since I come from Canada where equality is much more prominent than it is here.
In Canada if I said I need a GF that can cook I would get berated for the thought that a woman belongs in the house. This is not what I was asking. I just wanted a gf that could cook. I love cooking why is it so bad I want a gf to share in the responsibility of cooking. I cooked often and did laundry and just wanted the same in return, just like most men these days in the west.
However here in China a man that cooks is sexier and rarer. Girls in China really appreciate it. Many Chinese men cook here simply to impress the ladies... and maybe they like cooking too.
A poor man that can cook is equivalent to owning an Audi I would suppose in a make belief world.
For those men who have yet to find the right girl in your seemingly endless search for Miss Right here are some helpful tips in the meantime.
Show your girlfriend or potential mate you can clean clothes and then some, she will love you all the more.

And for those times when it's near impossible to make a connection probably due to not being able to speak the same language, literally and figuratively.

Pushing into 6 years in China now. Love this country. It's nothing like the TV tells you it is. If you want a full time well paying job to bring it up in the comments section, I will hook you up.

That's amazing @solarguy! I hope things fall into place exactly the way you would like to see them.
I think any very nutritionally dense food that can be grown in a house-hold setting is exceptionally valuable.
I also didn't realize until I started to read your work that algae can be used as a fuel source.

Well, what is your dream job?
I'm in the process of designing an indoor Spirulina PBR to sell fresh Spirulina rather than dried. Where to do it is still up in the air. I was aiming for Vanuatu or Muskoka.
Wow!!! That's great. When do you think you'll have a finished product for sale?
Where was this guy when was growing up?!!!!!
