Hey that is really cheap. Just verify your car is an OBD2 system. If the UK is like the US, there are auto parts stores that will have the code reader and will read the codes for free. Some codes will automatically reset while others will keep the engine light on until the power is cycled. Try to see if the auto parts store will read the codes for free. If there are no codes, then you may need to buy the scanner and read the codes while driving.
thanks socky il ask em to read the codes. it is an obd2 system so if they cant do it (i will be amazed if they do) il buy that and try it out, thanks again il come back later.
