Till we meet again my beloved New Concept. My home for 10 years. Hello http://www.morganti.com/ looking forward for a good future ahead.

I will surely miss my company where I stayed for the past 10 years as a Senior Interior Designer. It has been a great year working with them and was very productive. The early years was so good. I came to Abu Dhabi from scratch and now thanks God it helped me a lot in life. Because of New Concept, with God, after a year, I manage to marry my wife, and the next year I manage to bring her with me in Abu Dhabi. We where like starting from the beginning and hoping for the best in the future. We manage to settle down in a reasonable accommodation, and was able to acquire my own property here and in Philippines. My son was born here and was able to let him study here. We where able to manage to stay together as a family which is for me the most important thing with the help of God and New Concept. For me, I can say, it was really a productive stay in New Concept.

But not all the time is happiness, not all the time is joy, sometimes there are hardship and test in life. The time came when New Concept slowly weakens, problem arrived, projects lessen, reduce and delay of salary came, the foundation started to weaken, people started to leave, slowly I started to be feel the loneliness and the pressure, it started to hurt me. The security and the excitement became the thing of the past and now becomes fear, uncertainty and doubt. Slowly It was not healthy anymore so I begin to plan on leaving. The time came I had the chance to find a new company, it was a semi-government company and they said to me I have a bright future there. Scared of the changes, and new surroundings kept me to stay more even when I was being bombarded by the hardship. Sadly I accepted the truth that I have to leave my beloved company and to find another opportunity.

My last day was emotional, madam which was my direct boss was so emotional.

After making a speech and giving me her gift and a hug, then she can’t stop tears flow from her eyes and went out for a moment and the atmosphere went in silence. One by one they gave a farewell speech and was very memorable, one speech that was striking to me is when madam said that New Concept will never be the same again when I’m gone. I myself gave a closing remarks and then we started eating. I was not able to see madam anymore, she left early. That was the last time I saw her. The next day is where I felt I miss my old life in New Concept. That is where I started to make posts and calling my old friends and was inspired to make this blog.

For some people, things do happen into our lives normally, but for me, it was divine. like Jonah and Moses in the bible, I felt it was a strong arm that pushed me to make the first step and look forward to another opportunity, for another chance in life, leaving my comfort zone and facing changes. I was afraid of changes, especial if there are lots of love ones depending on me, but this strong arm carried me all the way from the beginning like how I establish my self in this country and until now, still feeling this arm and putting my trust in to it.
