Ganesh is a very important God that brings prosperity and removes obstacles in life
It is said good things come to those who praise him
In the last couple of years, I've become more spiritual through yoga and meditation. In my personal experience, I feel that Ganesh has protected my home from negative energy and removed obstacles.
Ganesh's Story is very interesting, Parvati gave life to Ganesh as a human boy. Not knowing it was his own son, Shiva his father cut off Ganesh's head which was later replaced with an elephants head and worshipped as one of the most important gods in Buddhism and Hinduism.

Ganesh is good at removing obstacles and there are some good mantras that you can use if you understand mantra.
regarding Sri Ganesha's head most people do not know the story about why he has an elephant head but many people have seen a statue of Ganesha but don't know, so good that you covered that as a lot of people will learn from it.
