Against The Passions Through Dance
Whirling Dervishe is a Sufi dance that is the inspiration of the philosopher Jalaluddin Rumi. Which means that the foundation of life on earth and on earth is turning.
This dance is a part of self meditation, which is attached to the Sufi teachings in Islam. Through this meditation dance, it is hoped that the perpetrators can reach perfection in their faith, abolish their lust, selfish and personal desire in their life.
Always remembering death is one of the most powerful ways to control lust and worldly selfish . A Sufi dancer is defined as fighting against the selfish.
