#4 Attending a dream like wedding in Tuscany ( Part I)

On 24th of June, one of my really good friends got married to an amazing Italian woman in Poppi, Tuscany. This was the first time that I have ever been in a western wedding so it was special in that sense, but everything was so beautiful that I felt like I was in an Italian movie. 

My friend met his wife 5 years ago at work and they had an instant connection. Although they had to work in two different countries for three years in this period, they made it work. They did defy the common belief about long distance relationships. 

They had hired a beautiful resort in Poppi, in Tuscany Italy. So the bride's side was filled with Italians and the groom's with Dutchies and me. Everyone looked really amazing. But the highlight of the whole evening was when the bride arrived. 

The violin played Christina Perri's "A Thousand Years" as she reached her husband to be. Their vows were accompanied by the mesmerizing violin melody. As she read out her vows, titled (he is not perfect), waterworks started. Honestly, everyone was so emotional as she read how her love is. She said something in the vows that really touched me, "Do not expect more than he can give." That is such an amazing message for a relationship. Their love for each other really showed when they both kissed each other as they were pronounced man and wife.

After the ceremony, we first danced to the live music (awesome by the way). It was next to a pool, with lots of appetizers. It was really mesmerizing. Then we went on to the cake cutting part and finally, all broke loose when everyone in the wedding went to the dance floor.
