[Project House on a hill # 1] 2019/04/30 - Project Started

Finally one of the biggest projects in my life is started. Yesterday morning, i drove 300 km+ to see the first day work of my project “House on the hill“

After bought a hill last year and after a long process, try to get approval of authority, we were finally able to start.

We signed a contract with a local construction company. They are professional, quickly started the process and work with european standard, quality and security is the priority.

Started the first day is building a way up on the hill. We decided to positioned the house not on top of the hill but at the middle of it. Building a road up there is very expensive. We are living in the frosty winter area, and have to build the road in the frost-free zone, that means at least 80 cm deep in the ground.

Base on the calculation for the construction company, this little road to the middle of the hill requires 660 tons of material just to build the base, not including the concrete materials for the top layer.

To make a dream come true, we all have to start from the very bottom. We will have to often fight very hard and solve problems a long the way. It requires so much work, investment and responsibilities to make it happen.
