I read an interesting article by @samstonehill on the Yellow Vests in France and wanted to share the article with you, as it represents “on the ground reporting” of this historical event:

I also followed a link in the article to the Yellow Vest website where they have a picture of a yellow vest with a list their grievances and the issues they want their government to address. Sadly it is about a living wage, medical care, taxes and benefits. Even a modern democracy like France is caught up in the economic upheaval of our times. It’s a public protest so the list of grievances and posters are public domain, so I have a picture of it here.
