Our GLC Christmas Party Celebration

Today, we celebrated our GLC Christmas Party at Hotel 45, Bauang, La Union. We went there right after the Sunday Worship Service at Hotel Ariana. And as expected, so many foods to eat with very good friends.

We rented the tables and chairs for four (4) hours. Instead of swimming after eating our lunch, we spend it by answering different questions prepared by our facilitator. We draw lots of questions from the jar. Each of us I think, have at least answered three to four questions.

We have sumptuous lunch and all of us were so full. We chipped in and we assigned somebody to cook the foods for us. Each of us just brought her own unlimited rice and water.

In this photo, you see the one wearing blue blouse writing something. Yes, you're right, she is our facilitator and she was the one who prepared the questions and put it inside the jar.

Yes, there is plenty of food to eat. We had, ar arosip (a seaweed), fried boneless bangus, pork barbeque, chopsuey, sweet and sour fish, itlog maalat and of course unli rice and chitcheria.

We had a great time bonding and knowing each other during the simple fellowship.

In this photo, my Carleign is not in the mood for picture taking because she's sick. She has a fever again and I don't know why she's having a hot body temperature again.

We played games after eating our lunch. It was my first time to play the Jenga game. Very pressuring game indeed.

We all decided to play another game, because this game is indeed making our pulse rate faster. We played pictionary. Another time-pressured game and it is also my first time to play. I am no good in drawing at all so with my team mate, but we did win in the game a while ago. I just couldn't believe it hahaha. We had a good laugh all throughout the game because of my drawings and because of how I complicate the simplest words assigned to me. I am good at making simple things complicated. hahahaha.

She was so bubbly before we went to lunch. I never thought of her having a slight fever again hours after.

She went with her ate (big sis) after drinking her milk. She was still a little feverish here.

I finally convinced her to come with me and here she was smiling but still hot. I asked her if she wanted to go home and she said she wants to play some more.

So I allowed her to be with our friends. She enjoyed it and I am so happy that in spite of her not feeling well, she managed to enjoy the rest of the day with us.

We went to wash our things, utensils and all because it started to rain a little. Then we went to the cashier to pay our bill. It was indeed a well spent afternoon with good friends. :-) Thank you for your time to read my article. God bless us all. :-)
