Your Perspective against that of others

Most times we are prompt to judge people by what we see rather than what it is.

• when another fellow takes a long time, he's slow
  When you take a long time, you're through

• when the other fellow does something without being told, he is overstepping his bounds.
  But when you do, it's initiative

• when the other fellow doesn't do it, he's lazy
  When you Don't do it, you're busy

• when the other fellow overlook a rule of etiquette, he's rude
  But when you skip a few rules, you're original

• when the other fellow pleases the boss, he's an apple polisher
  But when you please the boss, that's cooperation

• when the other fellow gets ahead, he's getting the breaks
  But when you manage to get ahead, that's just the reward for hard work.

All these kind of reasoning could hinder our fine art of Leadership and motivation to people around us. Most times we fail to understand that one force drives us all and we are affected by one situation.

We persuade not from our own perspective but from getting the perspective of other. There are three questions you answer before you put yourself in Their shoe .
1.what do they know?
2.what do they feel?
3.what do they want?

When you want to convert someone to your view , you go over to where he is standing,take him by the hand and guide him . You Don't stand across the room and shout at him. You Don't call him a dummy, you don't order him to come over to where you are, you start where he is and work from that position ,that's the only way to get him to budge.
