Discover Me

Open and open and open me
lay out my folds, sacred triangles
scribbled with wishes
flatten the crease of my brow
smooth my wise woman smile
and file me amongst leaves,
bark and other skin
which can be plucked
or peeled or fuel a fire.
Angle me for flight
launch me to that nook
in the heart where sun
does not reach but hope
shines bright enough
for two earths, two heavens.
