Feed The People Inaugural Food & Coat Drive at 123 Pleasant Street presented by Bass Network, Ol' Boy and Shawmaynes

It's the time of the year again when we are all supposed to give thanks over tables of food that ends up going old in the fridge during the next few weeks. In a time of such bounty its easy to forget all those who do not even have a table to enjoy a meal across or a coat to keep them warm. Shawmaynes and Ol Boy have teamed up with 123 Pleasant Street, The Bartlet House, and the Bass Network to help feed and warm the community while, partying with a purpose.

Along with collecting cans for the Bartlett House's Thanksgiving dinner, we are also working with Bass Network and Bassnectar's amBassador program as part of their Reaching Out program to gather winter coats. The Maynes are proud to say that the community came together before Thanksgiving to raise an inspiring amount of winter coats and non-perishable food items that were donated to the Bartlett House and the Christian Help Center in Morgantown, WV. Everyone got down and grooved all evening, starting out with The Devils Cut rocking the house and the Ol' Boy took us out smooth. We are so grateful for everyone who came together to make this possible and party with a purpose. We were able to donate an overflowing 55 gallon drum of non-perishable food donations and over 30 quality condition winter jackets to be distributed to the homeless and those in need. We all couldn't be more stoked with positive impact from this show and look forward to the "Feed the People Food & Coat Drive" next year. Guilty is a Morgantown based artist who flows between genres with ease while keeping you groovin. He has had a large influence in building the Morgantown electronic scene and also shook Timos House at 11/11 Awaken Asheville last year, along with many a Maynes Good Time.
